Womack has conducted 30,000 Lasik procedures and has done more than 10,000 bladeless Lasik procedures during the past seven years. He has performed refractive surgery since 1990 and began focusing on Lasik surgery in 1998.

Womack is a 1976 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He worked three years for the Indian Health.

Service then completed his postgraduate training in ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

The center's hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
