Ericka Brodnock from Croydon, south London, was suffering from low self-esteem when she discovered her boyfriend was cheating on her after she had his baby.

The 29-year-old social worker told The Voice she had little time and money to take care of herself after her fifth child.

“I’ve got a 15-month-old baby by my former boyfriend and I really thought we would get married and all the rest of it, but he ended up cheating on me. I found some text messages on his phone and then I found an address on his sat nav.

“I called up the girl in question and she admitted everything on the phone. It crushed me, I was gutted. He was my knight in shining armour.”

Determined not to hit rock bottom, Brodnock applied to go on new TV show, Would You Dump Me Now?

“I had a bout of post-natal depression and I was truly unhappy with my appearance because I had gained weight and my hair started to fall out.

“I’m short-sighted so I wanted to ditch the glasses, but without my glasses my dark circles under my eyes were very visible. I hated my teeth and skin due to acne scarring.”

Brodnock was given a multi-peel mask to even out the scarring and uneven texture of her skin. Surgeon professor Dan Reinsein operated on her eyes with laser treatment Lasik.

She had the latest new afro weaves fitted by Racoon, which gave her long, thick hair. Her uneven teeth were contoured with a laser and filed down to make them even, and eight veneers were fitted.

Brodnock also had two crowns fitted and her lower teeth whitened.

Amazed by the results, the mother of five’s confidence sky–rocketed. Feeling on top of the world, Brodnock faced her former partner.

“I just wanted him to see show fantastic I was after my makeover. I wanted to thank him for what he did. I would not have had this opportunity if I hadn’t been heartbroken.

“It’s been a whirlwind and I’m really happy. I’m really pleased with the results,” she said.
